So I remember learning about different story styles today, we mostly learned about memoirs, did you know;
The word "memoir" comes from the French word "mémoir" meaning memory.
It's a non-fiction recollection of one's life story, focusing on certain events (moments or even years) taking place during their life told in the 1st person point of view.
There is difference between a memoir and an autobiography, a memoir "tells the story from a life" and an autobiography "tells the story of a life".
Memoirs reflect on what can be extracted from one's life lessons and tells how one remembers their life, like a collection of memories.
Isn't that cool? Haha.
