Characterization of Harrison Bergeron
By Zach Gager
Scrap metal was hung all over him.
Harrison looked like a walking junkyard.
"Even as I stand here-"he bellowed, "crippled,
hobbled, sickened."

Function of Characterization
"I shall select my empress!" he said, looking down
on the cowering people. "let the first woman who
dares rise to her feet claim herb mate and
her throne."
Character Depth
Harrison is a round character by far because hes changing the mood of the story and even surprisings us by breaking in to the studio. He gives the story its climax and rising action. He gives the story an edge of excitement and keeps us involved with story. If he was
switch out, then the story would have probably been a lot different.
Ballerinas, technicians, musicians, and
announcers coward on their knees before
him, expecting to die/
"Even as I stand here-"he bellowed, " crippled,hobbled
sickened-I am greater ruler than any man who ever
lived! Now watch me become what I become.
"Play your best," he told them, "and maybe I'll make
you my barons and dukes and earls."
Harrison is a three-dimensional
because obviously he makes the
story plot. He is the focus of the story.
