CHERUB: MAD DOGS By:Robert Muchamore Book Talk By: Santhosh Nandakumar Summary "Cherubs are trained professional spies, aged between ten and seventeen. They exist because criminals never suspect that kids are spying on them. For official purposes, these children do not exist." On a previous mission that involves two cherub agents Michael and Gabrielle to infiltrate and take down one of the major gangs in london ends abruptly when a rival gang attacks. One of the agents ends up stabbed twice and is in critical condition while the other makes a narrow escape. The first thought that comes to mind is to cancel the mission immediately. Luckly thats when Chloe Blake the mission controler asks the head of cherub for one more chance and she gets it. The plan now is to send James Adams and Bruce Norris into the rival gang the Mad Dogs to keep tabs on them and eventually get enough evidence to send them to prison. Mean while Michael the agent on the previous mission is told to continue with his mission to bring down the Slasher Boys. By having undercover agents in both gangs cherub can moniter them closely and make sure nobody gets hurt. After some small robberies that involve both cherub agents they earn the trust of the Mad Dogs. After they earn the trust they're blind folds are removed and now they can see the big picture. Not only does the Mad Dogs made up of armed robbers it is also made up of cocaine dealers, cold blooded murders and all they're tasks are run by a master mind Sasha Thompson. Withen a couple days the Mad Dogs are ambushed by the Slasher Boys and then things start to get ugly fast. After the attack Sasha Thompson is on his heels thinking of a plan to get revenge. This is just the beginning of a bloody battle that leaves people dead and others fleeing for their lives. Recomendation I recomend Mad Dogs because it has lots of action and a thrilling plot that gets more and more interesting by the turn of the page. The best thing about this book is that it gets more and more unpredictable even toward the ending. I would especially recommend this book for the people that enjoy reading action spy novels. I would rate this book 4.5 out of
5 stars. Main Idea THis is the agency that James
works for. CHERUB The gang that James
must bring down sells
drugs. Agents must infiltrate
and bring down the
two most powerful gangs
