Table Etiquette You should unfold your napkin and put it in your lap before eating. Always sit up straight when you eat. Dip your soup spoon away from you when you eat soup. If you have to cough or a sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a handkerchief or napkin. Cut all pieces into small pieces so you can eat it. No sloppy Eating with your hands always use a fork or a spoon. Don't pick your nose while or before eating. Do it in your own privacy. Don't fight with your food at a restaurant. Etiquette
