Transcript of JFK Assassination

JFK ASSASSANATION November 22, 1963 President Kennedy was making a trip through Dallas, Texas when he was shot while riding in his car. John F. Kennedy was only president for 1036 days November 22, 1963 He had led the country through the Cuban Missile Crisis, of 1962, which had almost led to World War III. As Kennedy's motorcade drove down Elm Street, it slowed down into a very low speed of 11 mph. Suddenly the first shot rang out, hitting the President. Lee Harvey Oswald has been considered the assassin. He was arrested by the Dallas Police. Many theories surround this. Protesting that he was "a patsy," Oswald was paraded in front of the world's gathering cameras and accused of murdering President Kennedy as well. He was arrested 40 minutes after the shooting at a movie theater for murdering officer J.D. Tippet. After being arrested, he claimed that he was a patsy in the assassination of Kennedy. Evidence had been stacked against him such as how he had lived in the Soviet Union, possibly giving away Marine Corps. information. He was an avid communist and supported Cuba, which at the time was an enemy communist country. This is one of the numerous reasons that sparked the ideas of conspiracy theories. Jack Ruby was arrested and later died in prision. The Magic Bullet Theory Only one bullet was found. It was found on Connally's stretcher at the Parkland Hospital. Lee Harvey Oswald Dealy Plaza But because of this there are ideas of a second shooter. When the final shot was fired, Kennedy moved back, and to the left, which many people find impossible is Oswald was behind the car and from and upward angle. Many people believe that because of that final shot, there must be another shooter from a different angle. The Grassy Knoll The Texas School Book Depository had been going under renovations, and allowed almost anyone inside. Nellie Connally, wife of John Connally, is convinced that Oswald was the only shooter, as is the government of the United States. Conspiracy Theories: On live television, Oswald was being led out of the Dallas Police Department basement when he was shot by club owner Jack Ruby. Sources: John F.
