Transcript of The main causes of my issue vary from frictional to voluntar
― Santosh Kalwar
The main causes of my issue vary from frictional to voluntary unemployment. Frictional unemployment is the time people take to move between jobs, here in Plainfield it is very diverse in ethnicity and many people face poverty because they do not have the same opportunities as other people here. Most people get stuck with dead end jobs because the lack of education. As well as others grow up in an environment where they are not pushed to strive. Which leads to structural unemployment which is lacking of skills to work and learning new task.
The government checks for unemployment statuses monthly. When a person is unemployed, they and their family loses a whole load. Addressing the issue is difficult, people who are usually the main target to employment are the ones with little education. It is really hard to deal with a situation like so because when you have a family like most families in Plainfield, the children suffer a lot. The people at the unemployment offices can be very rude and it intimidates people tom actually go.
In the United States, there are more than 102 million people without jobs. One of the unemployment rate in the U.S is 7.4% I've noticed that is always young folks getting unemployed. Since, there are not enough jobs the Americans that live in poverty continue to grow till this day. Think about this? If you have no job how are you providing things for you and your family? Meanwhile, by the end of 2011 the unemployment rate went up to 2.7 million people. People were so shocked and surprised because it had never reached up to that much since 17 years. The Average American spends 33 weeks looking for a job when unemployed. In my opinion, I feel like being unemployed is no joke because you need a job to survive.
The national statistics and trends of employment works, by each month the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S department of labor always have it up to date the number of unemployed people. The unemployment rate explains to you the percentage of the labor force that doesn't have a job. The national unemployment rate, to the long-term unemployment rates it’s basically people who been unemployed for more than 26 weeks, more than 52 weeks, and etc.
