Medicine Medicinal technology has progressed over the years. We have come up with more cures that cause less pain and work better. Medicine will keep improving. People have already started 3D printing body parts to replace bad ones. Instead of losing an arm, you could just make a new one. And it's made of a material that's just like bone and eventually the bone around it attaches to it, securing it in place. I'm sure that in another 50 years, that technology will get even better. This technology won't let injuries get in the way of things getting done. Many new inventions and breakthroughs are being made as you read this. Phones do a whole lot more than call and machines do 99% of our work, and they move our businesses forward. Technology is changing our classroom, too. Soon, almost everything will be electronic so there will be no loose papers that can be lost or stolen. This will make learning much more efficient. All worksheets could be uploaded to your page so you could access and complete worksheets online. CA #6 by Aaron Xu Texas: Fast Forward Sports Sports is a big part of American fitness and entertainment. It has become more competitive over the years. In the future, this will definitely continue. However, sports can be very dangerous and even life-threatening. Many things can go wrong. But we are starting to develop safer equipment. Scientists have created a football helmet designed to keep concussions from occurring. This would let players hit each other hard without worry of injuries. It would also encourage people who are scared of the physicality of a sport to go ahead and play it safely. Today, the environment is unstable and damaged in some places. We worry about the future, and our obstacles have pushed us to come up with new ideas. For example, China is building a tiny green city (around .5 square miles) that will be totally self-sustaining. It will have lots of highrises to accommodate some 80,000 people, with green technology that's supposed to reduce CO2 emissions by 60% and landfill waste by 89%. China's government wants to use this as a starting point for a chain reaction spreading throughout China's cities. The technology in the city will probably become standard in another century. It will leave less political issues and more stable city infrastructures. Environmental Summary Sources
