when flynn rider a wanted thief wonders into an empty field with a tower.
there he finds Rapunzel
in order to retrieve back his crown he must take her to see the floating lantern
The Threshold- when Rapunzel first came down from her tower.
she couldn't decide whether to stay and obey her mother or to leave and discover what the floating lanterns mean.
The Road of Trails
The super natural aid Rapunzel had was her long long hair.
When her mother was sick she drank soup made from a powerful flower,which keeps you young.
the power traveled to her hair.
The Innermost cave
Rapunzel was reborn when she discovered she was the long lost princess.

Return and Reintegration with society
when Rapunzel discovers shes the lost princess and is reunited with her family
The Quest
Rapunzel's quest is to see the flying lanterns that always appear during her birthday
accompanied with a wanted thief Flynn rider
The Journey
Rapunzel is searching for the truth
she wants to discover the reason behind the floating lanterns
The trails and tribulations :
being chased by royal guards
and getting caught by the mother
The Ritual
when Rapunzel discovers that she is the lost princess and the floating lanterns are meant for her
The fall
when mother Gothel tricks Rapunzel into thinking that euegene doesn't care for her and only wants his satchel back
mother Gothel plans together with the Stabbington brother to capture Rapunzel and get revenge from flynn rider
Death and Rebirth
when mother Gothel stabs euegene and drags Rapunzel away
Rapunzel makes a deal with Mother Gothel that if she wants her to come with her willing to let her heal euegene.
before Rapunzel get the chance to heal him, he cuts off her hair.
But euegene is reborn when a drop of tear from Rapunzel's cry falls onto him.

And of course, the whole argument they are having spawns from Rapunzel’s desire to “go and see the lights.”

After receiving the healing powers from a magical flower, the baby Princess Rapunzel is kidnapped from the palace in the middle of the night by Mother Gothel. Mother Gothel knows that the flower's magical powers are now growing within the golden hair of Rapunzel, and to stay young, she must lock Rapunzel in her hidden tower. Rapunzel is now a teenager and her hair has grown to a length of 70-feet. The beautiful Rapunzel has been in the tower her entire life, and she is curious of the outside world. One day, the bandit Flynn Ryder scales the tower and is taken captive by Rapunzel. Rapunzel strikes a deal with the charming thief to act as her guide to travel to the place where the floating lights come from that she has seen every year on her birthday. Rapunzel is about to have the most exciting and magnificent journey of her life.
