Transcript of Auntie Val's Burthday/ Retirment Party

This is a timeline of your life and the great affect that you have been in all of our lives!! On July 10, 1951, Willie and Hattie Deggs gave birth to a lovely baby girl and they decided to name her Vallerie. She is the fifth of 8 children: Mary, Willie "Buck" Jr., Doris, Raymond, Elaine, Wesley, and Imogene. In 1969, Vallerie graduated from Bethune High School with top honors as the class Salutatorian. Her plans were to attend Southern University in New Orleans. Vallerie graduated from SUNO in December of 1973 in Business Education. In July 1974, she began working for the Internal Revenue Service. On August 14, 1971, Vallerie and Lawrence Wilright were united in Holy Matrimony! The Wilrights welcomed their precious bundle of joy, Danielle on August 27, 1976. On May 4, 1982, the Wilrights were blessed with their son Lawrence Jr. In November of 1978, Vallerie was baptized by the Late Wilker Neal at the Nineveh Baptist Church where she is currently an active member. She serves as President of the Usher Ministry #2, a deaconess, and Treasurer of the Wilker Neal Schloarship Fund. Her favorite Bible Verse is Phillippians 4: 13 "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me." Vallerie! Here are some of the precious memories from the past as we look foward to a great and bright FUTURE!!! 2002 March (cc) image by jantik on Flickr Celebrating A Virtuous Woman
