a. English is not my first language. Therefore, if you do not understand something, I can repeat the information again (or make fun of my accent :p).

b. Interrupt me whenever you have a question or comment. I am more than happy to speak about my country and share what I know.

c. We are all nice people here. So, let's be friendly to each other

d. Have fun!

Learn Portuguese helps you with other languages!
Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, Romanian are "cousins", because all of them come from Latin.

Those languages are called Romanic/ Romance Languages.

*The Guardian, 2011
With such growth, companies will need people who are capable to speak Portuguese language to make business.

Some believe it will be the second most spoken language in Europe by 2030!

Are you gonna miss this opportunity?
You can study abroad!
Investment in exchange programs is being made to take American students to Brazil. All for free!

Imagine having the opportunity to study abroad for free?
When you learn a language, you learn about new cultures!
Language and culture are linked. When you learn a new language, you learn a little bit about how people who speak that language think, act...
You can travel to really cool places!
If you speak Portuguese, you can go to Brazil and communicate to a lot of nice people...
And know cool places by yourself, like...
Cataratas do Iguaçu
Rio de Janeiro
Lençóis Maranhenses
Salvador
You can also eat good food!
Such as...
Feijoada
Acarajé
Churrasco
Doce de Leite
Way better than the Argentinean one
Floresta Amazônica
We love soccer, and we won more FIFA World Cup championships than any other country in the history of FIFA World Cups.
Why is it awesome to be Brazilian?
Oscar Niemeyer, the architect who gave Brasília it’s flair, is considered to be one of the founding figures of modern architecture. And he was Brazilian.
Maracanã is the largest soccer stadium in the world.
Brazil is one out of only 19 countries in the world with a woman leader.
You can put your Nascar skills to use while driving a stick shift.
Huge hot dogs
You can Listen to "Ai se eu te pego" on the radio!
Despite of all the problems, we are really happy!
