Due to unable to deal with all the data at the same time, sampling is an better way to predict a future or confirming a hypothesis.
However, in some cases, only based on samples might get an incorrect result due to it is extremely hard to have an real objective random sampling.

Without long reporting time and human resource
Only by analyzing all data
The result by analyzing samples can only prove that there are certain relation with the hypothesis. About other factors and relations have to held more experiments all over again.
Causality = Find about why

EX: The Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) system
It broke the world into 60 zones which make location could now be identified, recorded, and analyzed in a standardized, numerical format. ----- p87. The Big Data

Extension: Will be a very good resource for Autonomous Vehicles
The gathered data can improve "Google Map" with data in different field

7 years - Already over 20 million books scanned
Scan and capture book pages into high quality images
Use optical character-recognition software to analyze it into words
Your target clients' favorite places
The shortest path
Autonomous Vehicle more safely
