11th November 1918.
The armistice is signed, @5a.m, to bring an end to the fighting in WW1.
In London, the Big Ben was rung for the first time since the start of the war.
In Paris, the gas lamps are lit for the first time in 4 years.
The big three (this includes David Lloyd George (of Britain), Georges Clemenceau (of France), and Woodrow Wilson (of America) got together and signed the treaty of Versailles to officially end the war. They sign the treaty @ vast Versailles Palace near Paris.
The league of nations meet for the first time in Geneva (Switzerland), the absents are:
August and November 1923
In Germany, the Munich Putsch (the Nazis) -tries to take over Germany but FAILED.
Also in Germany, Hyperinflation period- where money becomes worthless.
Germany is allowed to join the League of Nation, when the Lacarno Pact is signed.
Wall street crash - this means that stock marketcrashes in the USA, which this causes worldwide problems.
Manchurian Crisis - When Japan invades Manchuria (somewhere in China/ Monglia), which then Japan got lead into the League of Nations.
Hitler became the chancellor of Germany (HOW??) and the nazis (his party) held the largest number of seats in the Reichstag.
Abyssinia crisis - Italy attacking/ invading Abyssinia. The League of Nations fail.
Hitler invade RhineLand, which he is breaking the terms of the treaty of Versailles.
Munich conference - British begs Germany to giving Sundetenland over and they promise not to attack further.
Hitler sends troops to invade Poland, as part of the Nazis- Soviet Pact. WW2 is declared!
Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin meets at Yalta to dicuss how to end WW2.
Truman announces the Truman doctrine, promising aid to countries in Europe.
Stalin blocks access to Berlin, the allies respond with the Berlin airlift, they transport every supplies by planes.
USSR successfully drop and test their first atomic bomb. The cold war began after.
