I am a Kolb Elementary School student.
I have great expectations for myself.

I accept the challenge to become the best that I can be.
I can do anything I set my mind to.

I must listen to learn.
My teacher and my classmates will support me.

If I do my very best, I will succeed in life.
I must try at all times to do those things that will make me
proud of myself.

I will be the best that I can be and make today a great day!

POEM of the MONTH
Thinking

If you think you are beaten, you are
If you think you dare not, you don't,
If you like to win, but you think you can't
It is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost
For out of the world we find,
Success begins with a fellow's will
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are
You've got to think high to rise,
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But sooner or later the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!

Happy Thursday!!!

It’s almost a cinch you won’t.
Poem of the Week—Thinking

~ I believe that everybody should enjoy our school equally, and feel safe, secure and accepted.

~ I will work to make that happen, today and tomorrow.

~ I will not watch someone get picked on because I am a “do something” person; not a “do nothing”

~ I can help change things.

~ I can be a leader.

~ In my world there are no bullies allowed.

~ I will stand up.

The Kindness Pledge
I pledge to myself, on this day.
To try to be kind, in every way.
To every person, big and small,
I will help them if they fall.
When I love myself and others too;
That is the best that I can do!
We pledge to end bullying in our community, and in our daily lives,
to be a little kinder than necessary.
Dear Hudson,
I like that ...
I didn't know...
I think it's cool...
I wonder...
