Short term side effects

As for anabolic steroids as well as being classified as stimulants.
Long term side - effects
are minimal compared to anabolic steroids e.g. beta 2 agonists.
Examples
include substances found in some asthma medications when taken orally.
2.NON-STEROIDAL ANABOLIC AGENTS
Short term side-effects

Slow down the heart and reduce hand tremors.
Only tested in sports likely to enhance performance.
Examples
found in medication for high blood pressure.
Short term-effects
Numb the local area.
Restricted in some sports when injected
May result in injury due to lack of feeling.
Examples
include creams, sprays, eye and ear drops and injections.
Short term side-effects

Increase in size and strength of muscles
Long term side - effects
include diabetes, osteoporosis, acromegaly, arthritis and heart disease.
2. ERYTHROPOIETIN - E.P.O.

Short term side-effects

Increase in red blood cells
Long term side - effects
thickens blood, heart problems, high B.P.
1.HUMAN GROWTH HORMONE
Short term side-effects
Help the body to lose water and salt causing weight loss.
Long term side - effects
include dehydration, fainting, headaches, cramps and loss of balance.
Examples
are lasix and aldactone, alcohol, caffeine, highly sugared foods.

Help build muscle with specific training
Long term side effects
- effects include acne, hair loss or growth, deepening voice, shrinking testicles, liver damage, high B.P. and high blood cholesterol, increased aggressiveness
Examples
-nandrolone, boldenone and stanozolol.

Used to mask the use of other drugs
Not used directly for improving because of side effects performance
Loss of inhibition, slow reaction speed, blurred vision, possible aggression

Damage to brain, liver and adds to issues associated with obesity
Examples
Beer, wine, spirits
Short term effects
Increased alertness and reduced fatigue
Long term

include increase heart rate and blood pressure, loss of coordination, insomnia and paranoid behaviour.
Examples

include caffeine, pseudoephedrine, and amphetamines.
