Coronado found the Zuni towns but the inhabitants of Hawikuh resisted in a desperate battle in 1540. declared that Indians were naturally inferior and therefore were meant to be slaves; if the Indians refused to submit, the Spanish were justified in using force against them.
The Spaniards founded Santa Fe in 1610, though Indian laborers built most of the city.

Significance To The
Country Most of all countries that speek Spanish do so because of
the Spanish explorations that took place in Cental America The Spanish benefited from the mass amount of gold coming from central americas. The Spanish do to the mass gold amounts became one of the most powerful empires in the 1600s Significance To The Modern World
