Rule: 3 hours for every hour scheduled in class....so BIOL 2200 lecture meets 3 hours/week which means you should study a minimum of 9 hours/week. Then add the lab where you are in lab for 2 hours/week...so you should include 6 more hours....whew that's a lot!
Prioritize your time
Quality Study Time = Active & Engaged
1.) Skim the chapter...Review major topics, images, themes--->You should be able to explain to a 12 year old what the chapter is all about!
2.) Vocabulary Cards
3.) Read chapter from beginning to end
