Some important things to know
Bok was a great hunter but got killed during a dangerous fight with a bear.
Keesh and his mother lived alone in their poor igloo.
Keesh was determined to feed his family and village.
He was brave enough to stand up to the cheif and wasnt even afraid of the danger that would come in his way.
He showed signs of willingness, determination, respect etc.

The Book !
KEESH lived long ago on the rim of the polar sea. He struggled with hunger because there was no one to get meat for his family. ( since Bok died )
He was a bright boy, healthy and strong, and he had seen thirteen suns, in their way of reckoning time. ( thirteen years old )
This story tells us how Keesh, from the poorest igloo in the village, rose to power and place over them all.
