Transcript of Jesus' Crucifixion

Satan was God's highest and most important angel.
Satan was orginaly an angel.
He was the highest of All angels
But he became conceded with his beauty and how high God put him on his scale.
He was God's most trusted.
He was created to help God create.
He then was found with corruption.
He was very conceited with his own wants and desires.

The Romanians wanted Jesus dead because many of the people were turning away from the Roman religious leaders and more towards Jesus, needless to say they did not like this.

Who killed Jesus Christ?
By: Marlee K
Trials Before Jesus' Crucifixion.

Obvious suspects.
Satan: because he wanted Jesus dead.
Romans:many people were leaving the roman religion for Jesus.
Sadducees and pharisees: wanted him dead because they thought he was blaspheming God.
Not so obvious suspects.
Judas: his right hand man betrayed him
God: He needed him to be the ultimate sacrifice.

Before the crucifixion Jesus got arrested. There were six parts to His crucifixion. The stages were split in 2 parts 3 in the Roman Courts and 3 in the Religious court. Jesus was trialed in front of 3 priest, Annas the former highest priest. Also Caiaphas the now high priest and the Sanhedrin. He was trialed as blasphemy and He was claiming to be the Son of God and the Messiah.
19The high priest then questioned Jesus about his disciples and his teaching. 20 Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world. I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret. 21 Why do you ask me? Ask those who have heard me what I said to them; they know what I said.” 22 When he had said these things, one of the officers standing by struck Jesus with his hand, saying, Is that how you answer the high priest?” 23 Jesus answered him, “If what I said is wrong, bear witness about the wrong; but if what I said is right, why do you strike me?” 24 Annas then sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

Jesus' Crucifixion
Satan: Isaiah 14:12-15, 1 Timothy 3:6),
1 Thessalonians 3:5).

Trials before Crucifixion:
John 18: 19-24, Matthew 26: 57,
Luke 23: 11- 12
Matthew 2: 1-12
Matthew 27: 32-56

So he became jealous and wanted to sit upon God’s throne.
He wanted to push God off his throne, he wanted to become the most high.
So he took up angels to go against God, persuaded them to join his rebellion.
So he waited for the right time and attacked.
He attacked God with his own corrupt angels.
In a surprising turn of events God won and expelled Lucifer ( aka “Satan”).
He expelled him to burn forever in the lake of fire.
So he and his fallen angels were pushed out of heaven by God.
They are now called Satan and Demons.
Satan now has jealousy and remorse for God and that is why he is there.
What was Jesus' Background?
His mother Mary was engaged to be married to Joseph. They went to Bethlehem in Judea for Jesus to be born. There was one problem, King Herod did not like Jesus. He had people go out and to go and look at Jesus. As he grew up their were many people that did not like him.
They thought he was a fake god and that he just wanted to take people away from the religious leaders.
He thought and knew that he was going to be a Savior to all the people there and to help them be able to be more like Him.
We know that Jesus was right because of eye-witness accounts and even the people in the old testaments talked about Him, before He was even born.
What happened during Jesus' Crucifixion?
They made Jesus drink wine that had gall in it, He refused to drink it. Over Jesus’ head they put a sign saying This is Jesus, The King of the Jews. Two other people were crucified with Jesus. People were saying mean things to him saying that If he was the Son of God to come down from that cross. And He can save other but He can’t save Himself. During the afternoon Jesus was calling My God, My God why have you forsaken me. When Jesus was begging to get killed the ground shook and the tombs broke and bodies of many holy people rose up.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Why is this so important to human History.
This is important to history because Jesus died for all human history and that if we live for Him we can have a new life in Heaven. He gave His son to us as the ultimate sacrifice for us to live in heaven.
