Ives was born 1865 in Chicago. Ives created the vacuum cleaner in the basment of his home in Chicago,Illinios.
Why he created the vacuum
The vacuum was made as a house hold appliance to make cleaning efficient to the success of Ives Mcgaffey the vacuum cleaner became a house hold cleaning aid. The later model, a manual crank vacuum, made cleaning even easier because of its suction power.
What it has led to
Ives W. Mcgaffey has insipered people to make a better vacuum and it has gotten better scince then.
