The Characters
Christopher (Chris):
first born, aspires to be a doctor, father figure to Carrie and Cory
Catherine (Cathy):
second born, aspires to be a prima ballerina, mother figure to Carrie and Cory
Carrie:
twin and partner in crime to Cory, very small and has problems growing due to being locked away without sunlight for too long
Cory:
twin and partner in crime to Carrie, musically talented but never got to leave the attic, eventually dies
Paul:
Chris, Cathy, and Carrie's benefactor and legal guardian, doctor
Julian:
husband and dance partner to Cathy, father to Jory
Jory:
Cathy and Julian's son
Corrine:

-Cathy has to move to New York to pursue her dream of being a prima ballerina and leave Chris, Carrie, and Paul in South Carolina

-Carrie can't grow because she was deprived of sunlight and proper nourishment during her prime time of growing

-Cathy is in love with Paul, Julian, and Chris

-Chris can't find anyone he loves more than Cathy, but Cathy loves Julian

-Cathy is pregnant and can not dance anymore

-Cathy wants revenge on her mother so badly that she is willing to do whatever it takes

What might happen?

, the Dollanganger children move to their wealthy grandparents' mansion after their father's unexpected death. The children are promised everything they have hoped and dreamed for, but what they don't know is that their mother has been disowned by her father and they are not allowed to be seen or heard until she earns back his trust and is reentered into his will. The children go through many struggles but finally escape Foxworth Hall. They discover all the lies they have been told and leave in search of a new life.
