A look at the holidays in
America & Cuba

Christmas VS el Día de Reyes
Winter holidays and traditions differ from country to country, but they share some similar aspects as well. This presentation is designed to explore the differences between an American winter holiday, and a Cuban one.
During Both Holidays:
Everyone leaves out something to receive gifts in.
Treats are left out the night before.
Presents are discovered the next morning.
Christmas trees are used.

In Cuba they leave out shoes while in America we leave out stockings.
Christmas is on December 25, while el Día de Reyes is on January 6.
El Día de Reyes is celebrating the three kings that visited baby Jesus while Christmas is celebrating the birth of baby Jesus.
Idea 4
These holidays are celebrated in different countries, and still are similar while being for different reasons.
