Showcase your expertise
Select a photo that represents you. It doesn't have to be fancy. Pick a background with a neutral color and smile!
Starting with college, list all the educational experiences you've had -including summer programs.
Even if you weren't paid for a job, be sure to
list it. Admissions officers and employers
often see volunteer experience as just as
valuable as paid work.
What do you love most about what you do?
Showcase your PASSION
LinkedIn is not a job board,
so your experience doesn’t
have to read like a resume.
Simply summarize your
experience in 2—3 concise sentences.
List the jobs you held,
even if they were part-time, along with what
you accomplished at each. Even include photos and videos from your work.
Whether you led a team
assignment in school or built an app on your own, talk about what you did and
how you did it.
Your profile is the front page of your story. The headline is a great way to show your value and passion in one quick line. Tell people what you're
excited about now and the cool things you
want to do in the future.
Think of your summary
as your “elevator pitch.”
It should tell people
what they can expect
from you. Describe what motivates you, what you're skilled at, and what's next.
