RX?
No Substitute for CTRL+S

is primarily a diagnostic tool for support and it is used to ensure that no errors have been introduced into earlier features by more recent ones. It is also useful when dealing with legacy files since in those cases, normally only new or modified features will be rebuilt when the files are opened in a newer version.
Assemblies:
CTRL-Q in an assembly will only rebuild assembly level features and mates. If there are rebuild flags on any items these will also be rebuilt.
Parts:
CTRL-Q causes a complete rebuild of all the features in the model. The Edit, Rebuild operation (Ctrl + B) only rebuilds new or changed features and their children.
Drawings:
CTRL-Q in a drawing will rebuild any view that is based on a sketched line, for example a detail view or a section view. If there are rebuild flags on any items these will also be rebuilt.
