The South Western Great Plains suffered a severe drought.In 1930 the over farmed and over grazed land began to blow away.The sky darkened for days. Well sealed homes had a thick layer of dust on the furniture.

The failing companies laid off a lot of workers.John Maynard Kenes had a lot of theories that could help solve The Great Depression.Franklin D Roosevelt ,president, applied Keynes theories to a new deal to bring the U.S out of The Great Depression. It had successfully worked!
