and lined them up then finding out who is
and who is not fit for labor. The ones who
were healthy enough for labor life's were
spared, at least for the moment. The
prisoners not fit for work were killed in the gas chambers and crematoriums. Crematorium This is a crematorium. What happened to the personal items of the prisoners when they got to the Concentration Camp? The personal items were taken from the prisoners and they were sent on there way for selection. Sabrina Murphy-Sams What was a Gas Chamber? A gas chamber is a room that was first filled with the prisoners than the gas was released in to the room filling it with gas and causing the prisoners inside to suffocate. What was a Crematorium? A crematorium is basically a giant oven that the prisoners were put in to. Some times prisoners would have to put there own family in it. The Holocaust started in 1941 and ended in 1945. It went on for 4 years unfortunately. Labor Camps These are prisoners in a labor camp. The Prisoners The prisoners here don't have much
clothing and are obviously lacking proper nutrition. What was life in Concentration Camps like?
What was the difference
between a death camp
and a labor camp? The difference between a death camp and a labor camp is in the name. A labor camp is where the prisoners have to do labor. While the death camps was where the prisoners were there so they could be killed. A-2 Language Arts 9
