Are you interested in language research?

Do you know that training in language research as an undergraduate greatly enhances your success in graduate programs in language research, linguistics, psycholinguistics and communication sciences and disorders?

You can receive training here at Ohio U!! Consider applying for the Interdisciplinary Certificate in the Experimental Study of Language.
The program requires 26 semester hours, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in the program.

or
LING 3500 Introduction to Linguistics

SPAN 3460 Introduction to Hispanic Linguistics
LING 3300 Introduction to Psycholinguistics
PSY 2110 Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
PSY 2120 Research Methods in Psychology
Two language-related courses outside your major
Three one-credit, one-semester small research projects with three different faculty members in IESL
A research thesis in your senior year

An adviser from the Institute for the Empirical Study of Language is available to assist you in selecting courses and arranging your individual research experiences and thesis project.
