Do we know if there is water on Jupiter or not? Is there life on Jupiter or not? We won't know until the end of this mysterious presentation. ”How long is a day on Jupiter?”, one may ask. A day on Jupiter, also known as the sidereal rotation period, lasts 23.9344696 hours. Jupiter is the fastest rotating body in our Solar System. It takes 12 years to orbit the sun. A DAY ON JUPITER Moons - The Surface (continued) http://www.goodteeth.com/images/sun_r2_c11.jpg Bibliography By Filip N , Isabella H, Kobe C , Elizabeth P MOONS Jupiter has 67 moons, with four being the most popular. The first moon is Io. Io has volcanic eruption . Its orange surface was thought to be covered with sulfurous materials but it is now thought to be molten sand rock or molten lava. The second is Europe . Europe is not a land planet. It is an ice planet that is covered with ice and water. The cracks in the ice are orange and brown which might be organic chemicals . The third moon is Ganymede . Ganymede is slightly bigger than Mercury . Its surface is like wrinkled crust with mountains . The last moon is Callisto . Callisto has a very old surface with millions of craters that are millions of years old. The temperature is -60 degrees, and the ice is as hard as a rock. Jupiters rings Jupiters rings are 30 km wide. they are hard to see. you can see them better tn the dark side of Jupiter. The rings are made of dust. Did you know that Jupiter and all the planets have symbols ? Interresting Facts Io Ganymede Europa Callisto How long will this night be ? 142984 DIAMETER The diameter of Jupiter is 142,984 km. If Jupiter were hollow it, would fit 1,300 Earths inside. Jupiter is three times the mass of all the other planets put together in the solar system . It is the fifth planet in the Solar System . It is 460,000,000 miles from the sun. Jupiter is 366,000,000 miles away from Earth. Operation Jupiter Jupiters Rings Jupiters rings are very small or thin Jupiter has two brothers. His brothers are Neptune and Pluto Jupiters Friends Metis is jupiters first wife. Adrastea and Ananke are the daughters. Amalthea nursed him. Thebe 4th moon. Leda is the smallest moon in the Solar System. Himalia is the 10th of Jupiter's moons. Lysithea is the 11th moon of Jupiter. Elara was the parent of the giant titys. Sinope it is the 16th moon. Pasiphae is the 15th moon. Carme is the 14th moon. Metis Jupiters First Wife and Child Adrastea Jupiter is made of the same thing that stars are made of. It fact jupiter would be a star if it was 80 times bigger Jupiter is mainly composed of hydrogen and helium just like a star. It is made of sulfer, hydren ,sulfide, water, oxagen, mathane, ammania, and helium Inside of Jupiter This is the south side of Jupiter. Jupiter is 2nd britest planet in the Solar System. In Jupiter the wind blows 400 miles per hour that is faster than huricains and tornados . Jupiter's Gravitional Pull Jupiter is the most massive planet in our Solar System and therefore, the gravity of Jupiter is the most intense in the Solar System. The gravity of Jupiter is 2.5 times what it is here on Earth. The
grvitational pull is very strong. With dozens of moons and enormous magnetic feild . Water vaper exists deep below and can somtimes be seen though clear spots in the clouds. The planets stripes are dark belts and light zones created by strong east-west winds in Jupiter's upper atmosphere. Did you know that a comet hit Jupiter? Jupiter Overview Did you know that Jupiter is named after a god named Zeus? .They are so faint and tenuous, they are only visible when viewed from behind Jupiter and are lit by the Sun, or directly viewed in the infrared where they faintly glow. operation jupiter The space probe my group decied to to send to Jupiter is specily made to fly over Jupiter for three days. Then it will go to the core for the rest of its journey. The name of the rover is the Journey 1 the way it will get there by the N.A.S.A. space agence and Journey 1 will fly to Jupiter a 6 year flight to Jupiter Journey 1 will stay there for life.
