new inventions. These inventions allowed people to do things that had been impossible before.
Father of electricity
Thomas Edison
He created over a 1,000 inventions. In 1877 he invented the record player.
In 1879 he invented the electric light bulb.

George Washington Carver
Peanut Products
He developed over 100 products made from peanuts including cosmetics, dyes, paints, plastics, and gasoline.
