Transcript of Is The Tell-Tale Heart appropriate?

As an eighth grade student, highly recommend Edgar Allan Poe’s short story, the Tell-Tale Heart. Many may not think it is appropriate for kids my age because of a few paragraphs of blood, but it doesn't compare to the modern day movies, television shows, and many other books that are chosen as a free reading book. This story of a mentally ill man challenges most of all current eighth graders to comprehend, betrays the guilt of doing something fallacious, and is already commonly read world wide.
Yes .
Many other eighth grade teachers nationwide have left highly robust reviews about the positive result of reading this short story. pward55, middle school teacher said, “ I teach 8th grade and they loved it. The students invoked many questions and started their creative juices to flow.” Obviously it has to be appropriate or there wouldn't be positive reviews.

The Tell-Tale Heart confronts students to be able to translate olden speech into modern speech. By reading the Tell-Tale Heart we increased our vocabulary and by depriving other students of reading it they will not have the same opportunities to excel higher than what they currently are.
