What he is known for
In 1895, he became the first African American to earn a Ph.D. from Harvard University. He wrote extensively and was the best known spokesperson for African-American rights.
Birth
W.E.B DuBois was born on February 23, 1868. He was born in Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Young Life
He got a full scholarship(which was rare) to Fisk University in Tennessee, a black institution
Death
His life ended in his sleep in August 27, 1963 at Accra, Ghana



Middle Age
W.E.B. was a co-founded the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in 1909 along with Ida b. wells, Archibald Grimké, Oswald Garrison Villard, Lillian Wald, Mary White Ovington, William English Walling, Henry Moskowitz.
