Love and Sacrifice

Love and sacrifice go hand in hand because if you love someone you will generally sacrifice yourself and put others first.
A Worn Path
The short story "A Worn Path" relates to the theme of love and sacrifice because the main character Phoenix Jackson was willing to sacrifice herself for the love of her grandson. She went on a very dangerous journey in search of the medicine her grandson needed to survive. She was risking her life to save his.
Jesus Christ
Jesus gave his life for our sins. Sacrificing himself on the cross for everyone, even people that hated him, he died for them all.
