Simple Present
•[Verb]+s/es in third person.



Affirmative Form
Structure

Subject + Verb + Complement.

Affirmative
Form
Subject:I,you,We,They.
Conjugation:Walk,talk,watch.
Subject:He,She,It.
Conjugation:Walks,talks,watchs.

Examples:

I speak English.
I work on saturdays.
My dad works near here


Affirmative Form
The verbs ending in "-o","-sh", "-ch" , "-ss", "-x" , "-z", "-y" is added “es” for the third person.

Verb:
Go,wish,fix,study.

Rd Person
:Goes,wishes,fixes,
studies.

Subject + Auxiliary verb “ (to do)” + negative auxiliary ("not") + main verb.

Contracted form “(don’t)”

Negative Form
[Auxiliary Verb] + "Does not" in third person.

She doesn’t play tennis, She plays piano.

He doesn’t eat vegetables, He eats fast food.
Examples

Laura does not play piano very well.
We do not work very hard.
They don’t know my telephone number.
John doesn’t live near us.
