Eminem's real name is Marshall Mathers.
He was born on October 17th 1972.
He has been listed and ranked as one of the greatest artists of all time by many magazines.
He won 13 grammies since 2000.
He played in the movie "8 Mile"
He grew up in Detroit, without his father.
At the age of 14, he began rapping with high-school friend Mike Ruby, the two adopting the names "Manix" and "M&M," which soon morphed into Eminem
Some people call him King of Hip-Hop.
His most recent album is The Marshall Mathers LP 2,.
On November 10, 2013, Eminem won the “Global Icon” award at the 2013 MTV EMA Music Awards
On October 21, 2008, Eminem released a tell-all autobiography entitled The Way I Am, which details his struggles with poverty, drugs, fame, heartbreak and depression
He founded the The Marshall Mathers Foundation, assisting disadvantaged youth
. He spoke on producing his own songs saying, "Sometimes, I may get something in my head, like an idea or the mood of something that I would want, and I'm not always gonna get that by going through different tracks that other people have made.
Despite his bad boy image, he does in fact believe in god.
In 2005, his Uncle and Aunt sued him for everything.
Eminem has spoken about his addiction to prescription drugs, including Vicodin, Ambien, and Valium
On April 11th 2006, Eminem’s best friend and fellow D12 member, Proof, was killed by club bouncer Mario Etheridge by gunshot wounds to the head and chest
He was named "Best rapper " of 2008.
Eminem has produced a total of 11 albums.
He has sold more than 5.2 million copies of CD's.
