herbs and other vegetables. Fashion or traditional clothes Food of North India Realated breads baked in these regions include
Tandoori,Rumaali and Naan. Variety flours such as
wheat, rice, maida,and beasan. Food of West India In Western India, the desert cuique taste
and varities of food. Rajasthan and Gujarat
are the states that represent the desert flavor
of Indian food. Food of East India The Bengalis love eating
different kinds of fish and rice. Food of South India South India uses alot of spices,fishes
and coconuts.Some dishes are the lamb stew and appams, Malabar fried prawns, Idlis, Dosas,fish molie and rice puttu. Languages The official language of the Indian
Union is Hindi with English as a
secondary official language. The main religions is Hinduism
is 80.5% of the poluation. Chrishtianity
2.3%, Sikhism1.9% . Indian religions are Buddhism
and Janism. Shramana religions and the Vedic
religion, parallel traditions that have existed side by
side for thousands of years. RELIGIONS OF INDIA And belive in many gods Sports: Sports in India includes criket,
football, feild hokey, lawn tennis,
and golf. Feild hokey is the national
sport of India. And cricket is the most popular
sport. dioehrh njre Holidays: Popular religious festivals include the Hindu festivals of Diwali, Ganesh Chaturhi, Holi, Dussehra and the Islamic festivals of Eid ul- Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Mawlid an-Nabi wich are celebrated thoughout the country. The Cristian festivals such as Christmas, Good Friday, and Jain festivals like Mahavir Jayanti. Traditions Tilak is a ritual mark on the forehead, it can be put in many forms as a sign of blessing or a greeting. The tilak is usually made out of a red vermilion paste wich is a mixture of turmeric, alum, iodine, comphor etc. Maps and Graphs: Government: The government comprises three interdependent branches: the executive,the legeslative and the judiciary. The executive branch headed by the President,who is the Head of State and exercises his or her power directly through officers subordinate to him. The Legeslative branch or the Parliament consists of the lower house,the Lok Sabha, and the upper house,the Rajya Sabha,as well as the president.The Judicial branch has the Supreme court at its apex,21 High Courts,and numerous civil,criminal and family courts at the district level. Exports: Indian trade was impacted by the global recession of 2007-2009. Indian exports fell from $200.9 billion in 2008 to $165 billion in 2009.India ranked 22nd n the world in terms of export volume.

Transportation: Transportation in India is by air, water, roads. Family Structure: In India people learn essential things of cultural life within the family. In most of the country the basic units of society are the patrilineal family unit and wider kinship groupings. Communication: Hindies communicate mostly with telephone, cellphone, newspaper and TV. Kids LIfe: In a kids life in India they wake up early to get ready for school and sometimes walk to school. Kids buy the food or bring food from home. Every morning the teachers announce what will it be for the day. Children walk back home and do their homework.
