A matter of
persistence and intelligence
That makes prezi...
is for me
its most important value?
there is nothing like starting something.
Too much planning is dangerous and so is to little, but when the time comes, we need to recognize it and start.
Small or big, a step must be given to finish the race!
Prezifying my University in 3 easy steps
In my university Prezi is well known within the AIESEC organization. However in classes, students and professors alike still prefer older presentation softwares.
Exposing them to the effects of Prezi in the audience and the number of applications and functions it has to offer is intended to create a new mind set towards it.
Exposing it in the University communication channels, providing free tutorials and other ways to promote it (e.g. use it as a requirement in the various student seminars)
From the moment the university community is aware of the benefits of using Prezi over other presentations softwares, it is time to step up a bit.
This is, involving everyone in the techniques and special features of Prezi.
We don't want people using Prezi like they use all the other softwares, slide by slide.
Providing competitions and building a club of presentation skills with its core in Prezi is the perfect way to draw people in and make the Prezi brand an acquired tool of all students. As more and more use it every time, know how to use properly and teach other.
When it becomes an acquired tool, is time to guarantee it continues to be so.
And we do this by providing a free introductory class to freshmens upon their entrance in University, researching the percentage of students who don't use Prezi and their reasons for it.
Provide afterwords solutions to overcome those reasons and make ways to present Prezi suitable for even more settings and situations. So it is used by everyone and every time.
