The Medal of Honor is the United States of America's highest military honor, awarded for personal acts of valor above and beyond the call of duty.
Clarence E. Sasser
Sasser was a combat medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He received the medal from President Richard Nixon in 1969 for his actions on January 10, 1968, in Dinh Tuong Province, Republic of Vietnam.
