How instant noodles came about
Instant noodles were invented by Taiwan born inventor
Instant noodles were marketed on August 25 1958.
Then, 'Cup Noodles' were introduced in 1971, to which boiling water is added to cook the noodles.
Why are instant noodles popular
Instant noodles gain immense popularity which spread throughout the world.
Production of instant noodles
The main ingredients of instant noodles are flour, starch, water, salt, mixture of sodium phosphate as well as potassium carbonate.
Then the dough gets kneaded and will be put through two rotating rollers.
After that, it is made to desired thickness and then cut right away to ensure the noodles' springiness.
The noodles are then steamed for one to five minutes depending on the amount.
Next, noodles are dried by either the frying process or hot air drying process. This ensures a longer life span for consumption.
Lastly, the noodles are packaged with the packets of seasoning which give flavour to the noodles when consumed.
