Fifth's Disease Chicken pox Mumps Rubella
Fifths Disease
A mild rash illness that occurs most commonly in children
Caused by an infection with human parvovirus B19
A person with Fifths disease usually becomes ill for 14 days after being infected with the virus

Measles
It is a highly contagious disease
Measles is an infection of the respiratory system caused by a virus
The most common way that people get in fected with disease is by breathing in tiny droplets of water vapor containing the measles virus.
The scale was devised in 1952 by Dr. Virginia Apgar.
The scale is a simple and repeatable method to quickly and summarily assess the health of newborn children immediately after birth.
Developed the score in order to ascertain the effects of obstetric anesthesia on babies.
A: Appearance, P: Pulse, G: Grimace, A: Activity, R:Respiration
Apgar Scale
highly contagious disease caused by primary infection with varicella zoster virus
Highly contagious disease caused by primary infection with varicella zoster virus
Chicken Pox
spread easily through coughing or sneezing
Chicken Pox usually last 5-10 days
Some serious symptoms are high fever, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dehydration and worsening of asthma
Scratching the chickenpox blisters can cause them to become infected.
Mumps
The mumps are a viral disease
Symptoms include parotid inflammation, fever, headache,
inflammation of the pancreas, and inflammation of the
testicles.
The virus is contagious from approximately 6 days
before onset symptoms until about 9 days after the
symptoms.
Rubella
Symptoms include an appearance of a rash on the face
which spreads to the torso and limbs and usually fades
after 3 days.
A low-grade fever, swollen glands, joint pains, headache, and conjunctives are also symptoms.
Rubella can affect anyone of any age and is generally mild disease but rare in infants and those over the age of 40.
The virus is capable of crossing the placenta and infecting the fetus where it stops cells from developing or destroys them.
