Transcript of The Tortoise and the Hare

The Tortoise and the Hare A hare one day ridiculed the short feet and slow pace of the Tortoise, who replied, laughing: "Though you be swift as the wind, I will beat you in a race." They decided to race. They raced and the tortoise kept going and never stopped. The hare on the other hand took a rest because he had so much pride and decided to lay down because the turtle would never catch up. But what the hare did not know is that while he was sleeping the tortoise was making it past him and already centimeters from the finish. The hare eventually woke up and tried to catch up but lost and the tortoise won the race. Slow But Steady Wins The Race!!!
