from the desk of Mr. Hosteen
Dear Mr. & Mrs Rocket,
Ringtail has been working very hard in class! He's been coming to class every day, always raises her hand to ask question, and helps other students. If he keeps up the good work I'm sure she'll have an A this year!
1) All homework will either be collected or checked.
2) LATE WORK will be accepted if excused.
ON TIME = When it is collected, which means NO hurrying to get it done before class starts.
3) If it is to be collected please place it in the hw bin.
4) If you are absent you will have 1 day per absent to turn in work ****IMPORTANT**** make sure you write "Absent" at the top of your assignment when you turn it in.
Get this from the front office.
enter the room
take your seat
Pick up any missed assignments from the Teacher.
It is your responsibility to make up any missed work!
Please bring the following everyday:
A positive attitude
Late to Class
Absent from Class
...just kidding but let's look at my class procedures.
Listen to the teacher with full attention.
No talking, or whispering. Don’t write anything during instruction. You will be given time for taking notes.
Ask permission to speak by raising your hand. Ask questions related to the subject. Other questions which are not related to the subject can be asked after instruction.
After instruction, make sure you understand the concept. If not, ask questions by mentioning which part you didn’t understand.
While You Are Working
Make sure you read or listen to the directions about your work and understand them. If you didn’t understand, ask help from other students sitting around you.
If they also don’t understand, ask to the teacher to explain it. If you are asked to help, be polite and kind and offer your best help.
Talking to each other should be no louder than a whisper. The person sitting on the other side of the room should not be interrupted by your noise.
Respect each other and be friendly. Use your time wisely.
Put forth your best effort to finish your work on time.
