Teal / Theory Y in practice?
some international examples:
Frederick Winslow Taylor (1856-1915)
100 years later?
Has anything really changed?
The question most people start asking now is: "How do we start this Teal-paradigm?"
What would be the first thing you would start with yourself?
What is it We believe in, as an organization?
What is our essence? What are our core values?
What is our purpose towards the greater good?
Who is it for, when we do what we do?
What are we essentially trying to achieve?
What is our meaning for others?
What is our extra value towards society?
Start with an understandable WHY and keep believing in it yourself and inspire!

EVOLUTION IN COMMUNICATION and TECHNOLOGY?
30 years later
EVOLUTION IN PRODUCTIONPROCESSES,
WORKPRINCIPLES and WORKRELATIONSHIPS .
internet public: 1993
Now: virtual communication and communities
with a never ending evolution
only 20 years
The road of evolution towards Teal might be hard and bumpy but always start with this in mind:
NEVER EVER GIVE UP, AND BE PATIENT,
no matter how high the wall,
no matter how heavy the obstacle,
no matter how strong the counter force!
The story of the Golden Buddha
from purity towards wisdom!
GREEN & TEAL PARADIGM -
SOME CORE-VALUES AND PRINCIPLES:
Take up responsability, starting with your own!
Loyalty only works vice versa
recognize your own mistakes first
more focus on result,
less on the process!
State clear expectations
Open communication and dialogue starts with
Essential (Teal) Leadership is about Giving the Lead to those people who are more than capable to take it on, i.e.:
We literally give back the lead to our co-workers, based on Trust and Belief in their knowledge, experience and talents and
in essential human values, such as:
Trust and respect,
appreciation and openness,
emotional intelligence, empathic capacities,
win-win and social mindset,
taking care of and giving service to others,
human bonding, wholeness, self-management and purpose.
This paradigm is the counterweight for the classic Scientific "leadership", which, nowadays, is mostly based on ego, position, title and function, degrees, self interest and pure personal gain.
Any Change starts with a personal
consciousness and transformation process
consciousness 1.0 ---
--- consciousness 2.0
small family tribes
no ego-mindset /
part of bigger entity/nature
no organizational structure
no work dividing
example now: Amazon tribes
more cognitive mindset
little notion cause/consequence
Self = Centre
ghosts / magic / rituals
no fear of death
elders/shamans with limited authority
finds best ground in
powerstruggles based on spreading fear
very strict task- and labour division
maffia, gangs, militia's, ISIS
stability above everything else
future = repetition of the past
formal roles and hierarchy
A lot of what and how,
less focus on why.
examples now: church, army,
public service and educational organizations
Modern Times - 1936
goals and staying ahead
purpose: power over competition, ROI and growth
Taylorism (mgt. by objectives)
Command & control on what
Numbers, Excel-sheet driven, strategies over corporate
culture and engagement
examples now: Multinationals, Charterschools
still starting at a pyramidical hierarchical structure
more focus on culture and empowerment
more focus on co-ownership
examples now: Small family businesses, startups, and organizations in transition
(TEAL (integral) paradigm)
towards an US-mindset,
values Organization = values Self
Life = journey with ups and downs,
mistakes are lessons in becoming better.
Everything has it's value
Acceptance of diversity
in personal vision and evolution
Wholeness, Evolutionary Purpose,
A winner is dreamer
who never quits!
