The Best that Money Can't Buy
The Singularity is Near
Physics of the Impossible
"Simply stated, a resource-based economy utilizes existing resources rather than money and provides an equitable method of distributing these resources in the most efficient manner for the entire population. It is a system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter, or any other form of debt or servitude."
-The Venus Project
A Monetary system is designed to fail, and is always corrupted and manipulated to keep people in fear and scarcity. To make us consume more of the planets resources way over than we should have.
"Exponential growth...which will continue based on KNOWN physics of technology, known paradigms, and known techonologies without any speculative technologies."
Based on SCARCITY (EX:farmers paid to not grow)

Depletion of Resources

Social Science: An 'Every man for himself' system creates speculation, distrust, and social solitary confinement.
Does the world produce enough food to feed everyone?

The world produces enough food to feed everyone. World agriculture produces 17 percent more calories per person today than it did 30 years ago, despite a 70 percent population increase. This is enough to provide everyone in the world with at least 2,720 kilocalories (kcal) per person per day (FAO 2002, p.9). The principal problem is that many people in the world do not have sufficient land to grow, or income to purchase, enough food.

Science Matters: Achieving Scientific Literacy by Robert M. Hazen and James Trefil
"...the logical structure of science is analogous to a spider's web. Start anywhere on the web and work inward, and eventually you come to the same core. Understanding this core of knowledge, then, is what science is all about."

Is the main driver for new technology?
Instead of having cellphone companies battle each other in creating the next best cell phone while wasting valuable resources to make a buck, all people interested/talented in creating better communication devices can get together to create the next best thing, therefore eliminating the many wasteful phones made to fit into budget prices.
Kevin Carter was an award-winning South African Photojournalist that commited suicide shortly after taking this shot. His Suicide note read:
I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners ... I have gone to join Ken [recently deceased colleague Ken Oosterbroek] if I am that lucky."
Political Science 102- American Politics Today by William T. Bianco and David T. Canon
-"Poverty can never by eliminated"
-"Poor and hungry people have been part of American society since the early arrival of the first settlers...this was not seen as a problem requiring government intervention until the twentieth century."
