Adverbs of frequency
They describe how often you do something.

They are often used with the "simple present tense " because it describes routines.

Position: Adverbs of frequency goes before the verb ( I always have breakfast at 8:30)

Except with verb to be where they go after the verb ( she is always late)
We often watch tv in the evenings.
He sometimes helps his brother with his studies
She always go to school al 8:30
They always eat breakfast in the cafeteria.
I usually get up at 7 o'clock
She usually goes to school by bus.
You often write letters to your penfriend.
I sometimes have dinner in a restaurant
Hardly ever
Their parents hardly ever teach him at home
She hardly ever listens to music at night.
She never plays tennis on Sunday.
They never go to work on Saturday morning.
