All About Me
Transcript of All About Me
I was born on May 8th, 2000 at St. Michael's hospital in Toronto Ontario at 7:30 p.m. I weighed about 7.7 pounds and had dark brown eyes. In my opinion, I like my name Rachelle because it suits me and I generally like the name Rachelle. My parents named me this because the main character in my mom's favourite book was Rachelle and she enjoyed this name.
I was baptized in Our Lady of Lourdes to a priest named Father William German. While being baptized, we create a covenant with God. I promise to take upon myself in the name of Jesus Christ and to always remember Him. Keeping His commandments and serving Him to the end. My parents and sister have helped me keep this covenant by leading me into the right paths and helping me make wise decisions, supporting me with every step. My teachers have helped me by teaching my right from wrong and correcting my mistakes. The priests have helped me by forgiving my sins to start new.
The Meaning of Rachelle
In Hebrew the meaning of Rachelle is an ewe (lamb)
To re-create my covenant with God I can do many things. For example I will try to go to church more often and go to confession to cleanse my sins. Praying to God to ask for help will help me become closer to Him and lead me into making the right decisions. Also, I can try to help the people that are struggling by standing up for anyone that is being bullied, including everyone in everything that I do, and being nice generally to everyone around me.
1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right and my cause,
sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
I chose this psalm because it resembles my covenant with God and what I will do to achieve the promises I have made with Him. "I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all of my heart" represents the prayers I will make to God praising him for all of the goodness he has brought i my life including my family, friends education, etc.
"I praise God above for all that He has done
with the struggles that He has helped me overcome
Through the dark times
he has brought sun
I will follow his steps
to creating success
Helping those in need;
this is what he decreed."
