BROOK & CIE - PARTNER FOR THE
PLASTICS INDUSTRY

Pros & Cons of different
welding methods
OUR SCOPE
Ultrasonic Plastic Welding Machines
Ultrasonic Welding Booths
Ultrasonic Handweld Units
Ultrasonic Cleaning
Infrared Welding
Hot Plate

Ultrasonic Welding: ideal for smaller parts, max 2 palms of your hands with one welder. 3d geometry limitations. larger parts possible, but complex machines necessary. Advantage: fast welding.
has its limitations with amorphous plastics
leather / plastic joining possible with staking

Infrared: usually for large parts. Complex 3d structures possible. no contact with welding surface (no weld marks). particle free welding

Hot Plate: Large Plastic Surfaces, quick tool change. with modern drive systems, it is still usable despite its long usage

Friction Welding: Very Large Parts, plastics with high filler content

HF Welding: Special Embossing and Sealing Applications

Our Partners

Sonotronic from Germany for small and large US applications and US cleaning

Frimo from Germany for all things Infrared and Hot Plate

Rittmeyer Beri for Catheter Punching

Bielomatic for HF and Friction Welding

Schirmacher and Bielomatic for HF Welding - Blood bags, urine bags
