What is cotton?
What cotton is
Cotton is a warm weathered plant that grows in the wild as an immortal plant, which means the plant can never go extinct!
Where Cotton Was Born
The original place the cotton plant has grown was in the tropics, which has warm weather year around.
The three biggest cotton makers in the world are China, India, and The United States.
Other Leading Countries
Besides those three other countries, the other leading cotton makers include Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Southern and Central American makers include, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Mali, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
There are four different types of cotton. Upland, Pima (Egyptian or American-Egyptian), Tree, and Levant.

Cotton can be made into rugs, fabrics, fringes and tassels.They can also be made into denim, which can be made into jeans.
