Malala Yousafzai
Malala's first Special World was when she started writing "Diary of a Pakistani schoolgirl " for BBC
Giving speeches for women's rights in Pakistan and educational rights for all.
Her Call to Action was when the Taliban began blowing up schools and forcing girls to stop attending school or even leave their homes.
She was also literally "called to action" when a BBC reporter called her father asking for a girl to write the blog for BBC
Born on July, 22 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan.
Grew up in popular tourist destination she affectionately refers to as 'swat'.
Oldest child with 2 younger brothers
Attended school that her father, Ziaddin Yousafzai, founded
Loved learning and was top in her class
Always had people eating meals with them, staying in their home, and getting free spots at her father's school.
Trials and Darkest Hour
The Taliban banning women from getting an education or leaving their homes
Not having a lot of money
Her darkest hour was when the Taliban attempted to kill her.

The important thing is God has given me my life.” -Malala Yousafzai ("Malala Yousafzai>quotes")
Now wants to become a politician
Is living in U.K but wants to go back to her homeland.
