Transcript of Single Parent Families

The struggles a single-parent family could face Shortage of quality time with children Mother or Father work all day to provide for family so there isn't always time for person time from parent to child. Due to not as much personal time with parents this can lead to feelings of loneliness and neglect on the childrens end. Economic Issues

Single parents often times have to work long hours to compensate for the missing income within the home. This takes away quality time they could be spending at home with the children. Single parent is under constant stress trying to provide for their children Effects on the children It has been found through research that children in single parent homes are generally far worse than those in two parent families There has been signs that children who have gone through parents divorce have shown signs of depression, emotional stress, and difficulties in school. Single parent homes have been associated with criminal activity
