LASD BLUEPRINT GOALS
*Meet the Individual Needs of Students
*Explore, Develop and Implement Innovative Practices
*Encourage Learning, Increase Training and Sharing
of Best Practices
*Kindergarten through 3rd grade students will
engage in the use of curriculum related applications
on iPads to support learning
*4th-6th grade students will engage in the use of
technology to create an individual or group project.
Projects will be guided by the LASD Scope and
Sequence and NETS.
*All genres aligned with the Common Core Standards
will be taught in each grade level. 80% of all students
will score at Proficient or Above on a Spring writing
*Implement a successful LEAP program of Systematic
ELD support in Kindergarten and 1st grade.
*All ELD students in K-1 will receive 30 minutes of Systematic ELD instruction, four days a week, by a trained teacher.
*All K-6 students will participate in at least 1 hands-on
science lab experience per unit taught to increase their
understanding of the scientific process.
* Teachers will use class websites, eBoards, Edmodo,
and/or newsletters to increase effective communication
with parents regarding student progress and curriculum-
based learning activities.
