European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS)
In 2014, the entire school received accreditation by European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). A high level of academic quality, professional relevance, innovation and internationalization is required to achieve EQUIS accreditation. EQUIS accredits programs that focus on the development of managerial and entrepreneurial skills.
In 2006, the School of Business received accreditation by AACSB International. It is one of just five percent of all business schools in the world that meet the rigorous standards for accreditation by the AACSB.
In 2011 the School of Business at AUC has received a renewed five-year accreditation. As a leading institution within the Middle East, AUC is the only University to receive this accreditation in Egypt.

National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE)
Aspiring to the highest standards of education both nationally and internationally and as an integral part of the Egyptian education system, AUC has decided to apply for accreditation by Egypt’s National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). In doing so, AUC becomes the first University in Egypt to undergo the accreditation process from NAQAAE, a body created by the government in 2007 to establish quality standards for its educational institutions.
London-based Association of MBAs (AMBA)
In 2014, the school received accreditation for its MBA and Executive MBA programs by the London-based Association of MBAs (AMBA). Only 2 percent of MBA programs worldwide are AMBA-accredited.
